![]() But if you haven’t been using PIA’s proxy servers, then this information probably won’t help. If someone has other preferences or ideas about anything else than modifying these 2 default green colors, then there's other open look and feel related issues, forum and reddit threads where many users already have discussed or shared their opinions about various other parts of default theme. Basically if I have issues with torrents starting to download, very slow speeds, or any weirdness with downloading, I switch the SOCKS5 settings to none and things tend to get back to normal. It's free software, can't just force or expect someone else to do something as some wish or recommend to do or be able to always please everyone. I think that if doing such things was quick and easy with current qBit and Qt code without causing any new issues, then maybe some more knowledgable user, contributor or developer with enough free spare time would have added such nice features long time ago. I could find shows and they would automatically download without any difficulty. For the past 3-4 weeks, Sonarr and qBittornet have worked like a charm. If and when will various default icons and some or all colors be reverted, changed or multiple theme and color related options added to development builds or default installers to easily modify things to fit someones preferences I have no clue. I recently setup Sonarr on a Win11 laptop that I use as a cheap Plex server. Here is how it currently looks like in v4.5.0 if you look at downloading filter and mix stalled, downloading and forced downloading and sorted torrents by their tags column: I'm fine with using various workarounds, sorting, tags, filters and theme files, but maybe for some others it can be an annoying issue if need to learn something new and for some it takes time to get used to any kind of better or worse changes to default themes and the list of filters. If looked at Filter - Downloading and sorted the list in different way than by their status and had hidden away the status column then hard to notice differences, user could just look at Stalled Downloading filter and Active torrents, but I think currently not possible to exclude torrents with status Stalled downloading from being shown in Downloading filter without using tags to filter things further and without modifying the filter code or adding new features and settings. Maybe some users are not aware or just not used to current default colors, do column sorting or constant rearranging or using filters on the left to exclude or notice certain torrents with specific statuses quicker. If text would be thicker or one green where made darker, then would be possible to distinguish what is what on most screens if had used white background, then maube wouldn't need anyone to constantly look at the icons or status column or use any themes or do any more tests, extra clicks to filter or sort or any more workarounds to lessen this. Whether status column is visible or not doesn't even change the fact that it isn't currently not easy to spot difference between 2 different greens with official stable v4.5.0 on some displays. The cropped screenshot you gave doesn't show how 2 different green status colors are shown next to each other. If you didn't write typo, then your running very old development build or forgot to modify your version number. I got none from mine.It show in the status column? I'm using v4.5.0alpha1 btw I'm at least pleased to see you are getting answers to your enquire. ![]() Anything, even µTorrent will be a pleasure after these past weeks and I have been using Transmissions for more than a year. It is now not showing stalled (no red) yet it is still saying remaining time unknown. I'm leaving Transmissions up and that file going to see how long it will take to dl, if ever. It just finished dl a file that has been on Transmissions for 36+ h and it did it in under 3h. I used to use µTorrent as I found Transmissions easier to use and it seemed more Mac specific but having downloaded µTorrent's latest edition and used it for less than a day I find I have a green port always, the speed is four to eight times what Transmissions has been in a long time and so far no torrent has given me any indication that anything has stalled. The hanging torrents show red for areas unavailable and then specify that remaining time unknown, which is so frequent now. I occasionally get a green port but rarely. I have 2 hanging torrent dls at this point and have six others this past week.
